A tag can take years to draw. An Ironman build runs six months and a few thousand dollars before you ever reach the start line. A season points at one weather window.

You control almost none of what happens on that day. Not the weather, not the course, not how your body decides to behave. This is one of the few things you do control.

Clean Origins is built for days that fall outside your normal: a race, a long day in the backcountry, altitude, real heat, a block of work well beyond your usual load. If your hardest day this week is a class at the gym, you do not need this. That is not marketing modesty. It is the whole point of the formula.

Real Ingredients. Real Performance.
Created by the Extreme. For the Extreme.
Not for ordinary days.

Tested at the peak of human output

Not in a lab. Across Ironman racing, long backcountry days on foot and on the bike, and thirty-day blocks of twelve hour work days while still training. That is the standard we build against, because if it holds there it will hold for your Saturday.

We are not going to tell you a panel of athletes approved it. One person has pushed this to the edge and kept changing it until it held. That is the honest version, and the first run is how it stops being one person.

Everything we have changed, and every claim we decided we could not make, is published on our changelog.

One stick. 12.85g. Everything in it earns its place.

  • 5g creatine monohydrate (micronized), a full clinical dose, not a sprinkle
  • 800mg sodium as sodium citrate, 35% of the Daily Value
  • 250mg potassium as potassium citrate, 5% of the Daily Value
  • 200mg magnesium as magnesium glycinate, 48% of the Daily Value
  • No sugar. 1g carbohydrate, from the sweetener
  • Sweetened with stevia extract and monk fruit extract

The forms matter more than the numbers

Anyone can put a big sodium figure on a label. We use citrate forms rather than chlorides, and magnesium glycinate rather than oxide. Those are the gentler, better absorbed versions, and they cost more.

Trisodium citrate carries three sodium ions per molecule. Same sodium delivered, far fewer dissolved particles, which lowers the osmolarity of what you are drinking and improves the gradient pulling water into your small intestine. Sodium chloride is one to one: more particles for the same sodium, and a heavier osmotic load. It is also the cheapest salt on earth, which is why almost everyone uses it.

Same logic on magnesium. Oxide is poorly absorbed, and the portion that is not absorbed draws water into the intestine. It is literally sold as a laxative. Glycinate absorbs, and costs more.

How we compare

Most comparison charts argue about milligrams. The number on the front tells you how much went in. The form tells you how much of it your body can actually use, and it is the line almost nobody prints.

Clean Origins Typical electrolyte mix
Sodium form Sodium citrate Sodium chloride
Magnesium form Magnesium glycinate, 200mg Oxide, or none at all
Potassium form Potassium citrate Potassium chloride
Creatine 5g in the same stick Sold separately
Sugar None Varies
Origin American made, American-sourced Often unstated
Built for Days outside your normal Habit

Origin you can name

  • American made. American-sourced ingredients
  • Third-party lab tested
  • No artificial flavors or colors

It is in the name. Where this comes from is not a detail we hide behind a proprietary blend.

Why the subscription costs less

A one-time order has to carry the entire cost of finding you. A subscription spreads it. The subscription price is the real price of this product. The single box costs more because a single box genuinely costs us more to sell. We would rather tell you that than pretend the higher number is normal and the lower one is a favour.

How to use it

One stick, on the days that ask more of you. A long alpine day, a race, hours in real heat, a pack-out.

Start ahead, not level. Most people arrive at the start line already behind. Thirst is a late signal, and athletes routinely under-drink even when there is water sitting right there. One stick the evening before, one the morning of. It is the cheapest thing on this page, and it is the only part of the day you can settle before the day starts.

A block, not a bottle. A hard day is rarely one day. Hunters do not fall apart on the first morning, they fall apart on the third. Nine out of ten stomach failures in an Ironman land in the run, not the bike. Twenty sticks is a block: a build, a season, an elk hunt, a stretch of work that has stopped being reasonable.

Questions worth asking

I already take creatine. Does this replace it?
No, and it is not trying to. If you already take creatine consistently then you are saturated, and that is the point. This is not your creatine source. It is coverage for the day the routine breaks: a 3am start, a tent, eighteen hours of driving, a race morning. That is exactly the day the tub at home gets missed, and exactly the day you would rather not miss it. A full 5g is already in the stick you are carrying.

Why put creatine in an electrolyte stick at all?
Because the hardest days are the ones where you are up before dawn, short on sleep, and asking a great deal of yourself. Those are the conditions researchers are currently studying creatine's role in brain energy. That research is promising and unsettled, and the acute studies used doses several times larger than ours. So we are not going to tell you it makes you sharper. We put in a full 5g because if it is going in at all, it should be a real dose.

Does creatine cause cramping or dehydration?
No. That is a myth the research has put down. Over 200 studies show no significant effect on hydration or thermoregulation, and the belief persists on anecdote rather than evidence.

$69 a month against what the day already cost you
A nonresident elk tag runs $500 to $900 before you have driven anywhere. A single Ironman is a few thousand dollars by the time you have paid the entry, the travel and six months of training. This is 20 sticks at $3.45 each on subscription, or $89 for a single box. It is not the expensive part of your day. It is one of the few parts of it you get to decide.

Can I use it on ordinary days?
Yes. We built it for the days that ask more of you, and plenty of people end up reaching for it more often than that. That is your call, not ours.

Why 20 sticks and not 30?
Because twenty is what actually fits a block. Thirty is a number chosen to look like a month. We would rather the count matched the way the product gets used than matched a calendar.

Will it upset my stomach?
We cannot promise it will not, and neither can anyone else. At a hot Ironman, up to 93% of athletes have stomach trouble, and the cause is blood leaving your gut to cool your skin, plus heat, plus hours of being shaken. It is not the drink. What we could control is how much we add to the pile: citrate forms rather than chlorides, magnesium glycinate rather than oxide, and no sugar. We picked the more expensive form of all three, because the cheaper forms are the ones people complain about.

Do I have to load creatine first?
No. 5g is the standard maintenance dose. Loading is optional and is about how fast you saturate, not whether the dose works.

What does "American-sourced" actually mean?
The ingredients are sourced in the United States and the product is made here. It is the reason the brand is called what it is called.

What if I don't like it?
Ask for your money back within 30 days and keep the product. That is the whole policy.

Still risk-free

30 days, money back, no return required. If it does not earn its place in your kit, you have lost nothing.
